Provider Law Firm Success Stories

The Pre-Paid Legal membership helps people. We see it every day. Read below to see how having and using the PPL membership made a difference in our members’ lives.

1. A member faced termination from his job after he was accused of lying on his resume.  His employer believed that he had not received his Bachelor’s Degree as he had indicated in his resume.  The true facts were that the granting university had made a mistake in the member’s records which led the employer to incorrectly assume that no degree had been granted.  The Provider Firm made a call to the university, spoke with the admissions office, and had the mistakes corrected, thereby allowing the member to keep his job.

2. A member logged on to a company’s website and agreed to a trial period for a product.  The member cancelled within the no obligation trial period but the company continued  to send products and bill the member.  The Provider Firm reviewed the contract and wrote  a letter to the company.  As a result of the letter, the company cancelled the contract  and reimbursed the member for all products ordered by the member.
